yes, this is about Harry Potter

Imagine being one of the (thousands of) people who made a living by contributing to a major franchise, a franchise that millions of people love and are positively impacted by, and having the pride in a job well done - and then the author of the franchise says some hateful, harmful shit, and your pride and joy and income are dragged through the mud, and all the labor you contributed this beautiful thing is tarnished... that's gotta hurt like a motherfucker. I'd be salty as fuck at that author, and more than a little bitter.

I imagine that the longer this went on, the saltier I'd get. 

I wonder, why speak out now? Didn't JKR say shit (first) a while ago? Did the crew have some sort of contractual obligation to silence that has expired?
