cultural evolution

Every culture believes its views are self-evident.

Every individual has their own nano-culture, created by their life particular experiences. Some of these are shared with others, some are not.

When explaining something to others, we tend to select the details to include based on what we would need to come to the same understanding we already have, without really knowing what the other person requires to come to that same understanding. And, we do this without even knowing that they may never come to the exact same understanding, especially if their experience guides them to another understanding.

Maybe this is how culture evolves on nano- and macro- levels.
